The Epicvape EV-1 went on sale in Dec. 2011.

- Heat source: 11-14 Volt ceramic heater element (18 volts in Boost mode). The heating element is similar to what is used in the DBV and SSV, but uses only about 1/2 the power.

- Additional features: The EV-1 allows the user to fine-tune the temperature of Regular (non-Boost) mode. The EV-1 "Boost" mode to shortens heat-up time and can also be used for vaporizing concentrates.
